Nightshade padded into the meadow squinting his green pools at the bright light. He gave a nod to Scarabpaw who was walking behind them and they sat down

Scarabpaw looked up at her mentor, anticipating her lesson of the day. Squirming, She thought of all the warrior code she knew at the preasent time. She never knew when Nightshade would test her on it. Her left ear swiveled towards the sound of a mouse dashing through the medow. She wanted to catch it, but she must only do as her mentor said.

Scarabpaw pawed carefully towards th mouse, being as silent as possible. Shecrouched, ready to pounce. The mouse, still unaware of her presence, had barly time to run as she jumped upon it, unsheathing her claws as she made the kill. She Picked up her prey in her mouth and placed it at her mentor's feet expectantly.

Good. Nightshade meowed. The sleek black tom could be quite gruff at times. Can you deminstrate the way you would stalk a rabbit? A rabbit stalking techniche is the most important stalking style that you will come acrouse in your apprenticeshi. LightClan is a moorland clan, so our diet is made up mainly of feild mice and rabbits. Nightshade looked at his apprentice expectently, his green eyes dubious, wondering if his apprentice would screw.

Scarabpaw got a little nervous. She really hoped she wouldn't mess up. Come on Scarabpaw, you can do this! You just have to concentrate! Scarabpaw took a deep breath, and went into a crouch. She delcatly pawed closer, eying an imaginary rabbit. she moved a little to the right, as if she were getting the right angle to sneak up from behind, slowly stalked up, still crouched, and finally mocked pouncing and killing the rabbit. She was tense, hoping she did it right.

That was very good.Nightshade gave a rare smile seeing Scarabpaws face melt with relief. A couple things to Improve on. You need to be a little more light footed, and try to breath ever so quietly. Rabbits have extraordinarily good hearing you know.

Nodding, Scarabpaw pictured what that would look like. Like this? She asked before imitating what she just done, only with a less noisier step and breathed as quietly as she could. After she pounced on the 'rabbit', she turned herself towards her mentr slowly.

Right, that was excellent. Nightshade paused, wondering what else there was to be covered. Lets see... He muttered under his breath. Ah, yes ofcourse. We are going to visit the clan borders, and learn a bit about the clans. We should also check and make sure the foreign cats are not sneaking into LightClan. Nightshade turned. The sleek glossy black warrior flicked his tail to the right. Follow me.
OOC: To BrightClan! I'll make a thread.
